Discovering each child's potential

Meet Todd

Todd Quist

Todd

Age: 7

Birthday: November 21

Favorite activity: Todd loves to listen to music.

Musc TherapyHe especially likes his dad’s whistling and the choir at church. During music therapy he uses his switch to ask for more! Todd also enjoys swinging on the playground and roughhousing with his older brother—probably because of all the tickling.

Accomplishments since arriving at Mary Cariola:
Soon after starting at MCCC, Todd began picking up his pacifier and putting it in his mouth. Today, he responds to people,
self-feeds, and can sit up unassisted.

What Todd’s parents say about him:
“We are so proud of his progress. Todd recently received a musical drum that lights up and repeats the letters to the alphabet when tapped ... it keeps him busy for hours. We love the fact that he is most content on nights when we cozy up by the fire, play games and watch movies! Also, Todd is an excellent hugger! The bigger he gets, the better the hugs.”

What his parents say about Mary Cariola:
“We toured Mary Cariola’s Pre-K program and it was just amazing. The director of the preschool knew every student’s name, and she was getting smiles and hugs from the children. It gave us such a great feeling that this was the place where Todd would flourish. We are happy with every little step and Mary Cariola celebrates these victories right along with us. Todd is going to show us what he can do, and with the help of Mary Cariola, he will achieve his greatest potential.”
