FAQs

Can I use the Mary Cariola Center name and logo to promote my fundraiser?

Yes, absolutely, but you must have pre-approval to use the Mary Cariola name or logo on any promotional materials. It must be clear that fundraising is done on behalf of Mary Cariola Center. For example: “proceeds from the XYZ Golf Tournament will benefit Mary Cariola Center.”

Please contact our Advancement Office to obtain electronic files (see contact information below). Prior to use, please be sure to submit for approval all materials on which you would like the Mary Cariola name and logo to appear.

How should I submit gifts I receive in support of my fundraiser?

The best, most secure and fastest way to collect donations is to handle them as follows:

Checks: Please have all checks made payable to Mary Cariola Center and be sure to reference the name of your fundraiser on the memo line.

Cash: Please deliver cash to the Advancement Office with a note indicating the amount included and name of your fundraiser.

Following the fundraiser, please mail or hand-deliver all net proceeds made payable to Mary Cariola Center to:

Mary Cariola Center

Rochester, NY  14620

What if we want to collect items not money?

That’s great! We are always in need of items large and small. Please refer to our wish list to get ideas for items you are interested in collecting.

Can Mary Cariola provide donor receipts for my supporters?

Mary Cariola can only provide receipts for money that is given directly to Mary Cariola. Proof of in-kind donations can be provided if names and addresses are given at the time of donation.

Should I send personal thank you notes to my donors?

Definitely! It is so important to thank the people who show their support for your event. Sending your own personal “Thank you” note, card or email is a great way to show your gratitude.
